Holly M. Helin, CPA

Holly has over 16 years of experience in public accounting working for entities and their owners with a focus on federal and State taxation. She most recently spent 10 years working as a tax manager at Maxwell Locke & Ritter where she assisted a diverse client base including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals with tax compliance and planning matters. Holly enjoys explaining the tax law and acting as a trusted financial advisor for her clients. She has extensive experience in entity and individual federal and State tax compliance matters.

Holly earned a Master’s in Professional Accounting with a focus in taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin Red McCombs School of Business in 2005.

Wallace F. Helin, CPA

Wallace has over 34 years of experience in public accounting performing services for multiple entities with a focus on corporate tax; oil and gas, professional services, and investment partnerships; tax exempt entities; and business owners. Prior to forming The Helin Firm, PLLC, Wallace spent 16 years as a tax partner with PMB Helin, Donovan, LLP, and he spent the 8 before that as a senior manager at KPMG. Wallace enjoys helping his tax clients, many of whom have been with him for multiple decades with compliance matters, as well as tax research, and resolving complex issues with favorable results.

Wallace earned a Master’s in Professional Accounting with a concentration in Federal Income Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, with highest honors also majoring in accounting, from UT Austin in 1987. Both Holly and Wallace passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA examination on their first attempt.
